Are my comics public by default?

No. Everything you make is private until you publish it. Use Publish on the issue to give it a public URL and list it in the gallery; unpublishing takes it back down. See publishing and sharing.

Can I read comics other people have made?

Yes — published comics appear in the gallery at comicink.ai/gallery, readable without an account. You can react to one without logging in; commenting needs an account.

What formats can I export?

A single PDF with every page and the covers, or Images (ZIP) with one file per page, in either JPG or PNG. Each is available at Web quality (free, screen resolution) or Print quality (upscaled to roughly 300 DPI, charged per page that needs upscaling).

What should I export for self-publishing on Amazon KDP or similar?

Export at Print quality. Take the PDF if the platform wants a single book file, or Images (ZIP) as PNG if it wants individual pages — PNG is lossless, so it survives any further editing you do to the cover.

Most self-publishing platforms want the cover as a separate file from the interior; the ZIP gives you the covers as their own images.

How do two-page spreads export?

Sliced into two separate page images, each the same size and orientation as every other page in the issue. This is deliberate: publishing platforms accept a book of uniform pages or a single PDF, but generally reject a book where one page is a different orientation from the rest.

Can I order printed copies through ComicInk?

Print-on-demand ordering exists but is being rolled out gradually, so not every account has it yet. Where it's available, orders live at /dashboard/orders, and addresses are collected per order rather than saved to an address book.

If you don't see it, export at Print quality and use any printing service — the files are print-resolution and work anywhere.

Does editing a published comic take it offline?

No. Edits to a published issue go live as you make them — there's no re-publish step. Regenerating a page replaces what readers see the next time they load it.

Can readers choose a language?

Yes, if you've translated the issue. Translated versions are served from the same public URL, and readers pick their language in the reader. Translating costs credits because in-image lettering has to be redrawn — see translating comics.
