Who owns the comics I create?

You do. You own the comics and videos you make on ComicInk, and you can sell them, print them, and publish them elsewhere.

That ownership comes with a responsibility: the originality is yours too. If you build a story around someone else's copyrighted characters, or a real person's likeness, that's on you rather than on ComicInk. See the content policy.

Can I sell what I make, or use it commercially?

Yes. Print it, sell it, put it on your own storefront, use it in a commercial project. There's no separate commercial licence to buy.

I'm getting "invalid credentials" when I sign in.

The usual cause is signing in with the wrong method for your account. If you originally signed up with Google (or, on iOS, Apple), your account has no password — entering an email and password will always fail, and password-reset emails won't arrive because there's nothing to reset. Use the Google or Apple button instead.

If your account was created with an email and password and reset emails aren't arriving, check spam, then contact support through the chat widget.

I can't sign up — my email address is being rejected.

Some email domains are blocked at signup, mainly disposable and throwaway-address providers. Use a permanent address — a personal or work one — and it will go through.

How do I delete my account?

From your settings, choose Delete account and confirm via email.

Deletion is irreversible. It removes your profile, every series, issue, page and panel, your characters, worlds and assets, your storefront, and your remaining credit balance. Unused credits are not refunded on deletion, so spend a bought pack before you delete. Export anything you want to keep first. See account settings.

Why was my content blocked?

It tripped content moderation, which runs on text prompts and on uploaded images. You're not charged for a blocked generation.

The line sits roughly here:

• Allowed — romance, attraction, kissing, mature themes, mild violence, revealing-but-clothed outfits.
• Blocked — explicit sexual content, graphic violence, hate speech, self-harm, and real public figures in sexual or defamatory settings.
• Zero tolerance — any sexualization of a minor, in any framing.

If you think a block is a false positive, rephrasing usually clears it — moderation reads the wording, not your intent, so charged or ambiguous phrasing can catch on something you didn't mean. Full detail in the content policy.

Can I upload photos of my children?

Yes. Ordinary photos are fine, including family photos and photos of children — an image is never blocked just because a child is in it. Making a birthday comic starring your kids is a normal, supported use.

What's blocked is sexual or pornographic imagery and anything that sexualizes a minor. Separately, only upload photos of people you have the right to use — including other people's children.

Note that uploaded reference photos are deleted after generation; ComicInk doesn't retain them.

Is there a minimum age to use ComicInk?

Yes, accounts are for users 18 and over. Comics made for younger readers are entirely fine — the age requirement is on the account holder, not the audience.

Can I make adult comics?

No. Sexual content is blocked on every generation path, and no setting unlocks it. Romance is supported; explicit material is not.
