Using ComicInk for teaching or marketing

ComicInk works for classrooms and marketing teams as well as personal stories. Both have their own starting page with example comics, ready-made templates and a free trial.

Free trial for schools and teams

  • On comicink.ai/educators or comicink.ai/for-marketing, choose Get a free classroom trial or Get a free team trial. Sign in (or create a free account), then tell us your name, your school or company, and what you want to make.
  • The trial adds 1,000 credits to your account — enough for three or four complete comics.
  • Signed up with a school or work email? The credits arrive straight away. With a personal email (Gmail, Outlook and so on) we check the request by hand, usually within a day.
  • One trial per account.
  • Want to talk first? Choose Talk to us on either page to open a chat with our team.

For teachers

  • Pick a lesson template on comicink.ai/educators: Lesson to Comic, Vocabulary Story, History Moment or Science Process. It opens the story box already filled in — change the topic to your own lesson.
  • Reading level: in the New Comic window, set a reading level (Ages 6–8, 9–11, 12–14, 15+, Adult, or a language-learner level from A1 to C1). The script's words and sentence length are written for that level; the story stays complete.
  • Classroom pack: open Export and choose Classroom pack. You get the comic as a PDF plus a worksheet written from the comic — comprehension questions with space to answer, a vocabulary list and discussion questions — and an answer key on its own page. It's free.
  • Accounts are for adults (18+). Students don't need their own account: make the comic with your class on the classroom screen, then share the link or print the pages and the worksheet.
  • Dialogue can be written in any of ComicInk's 22 comic languages, which suits language classes.

For marketing teams

  • Pick a template on comicink.ai/for-marketing: Brand Mascot Intro, Product Explainer, Customer Story or Social Carousel, and swap in your own brand, product and customer details.
  • Save your mascot as a character once and it keeps the same look on every page.
  • Download pages for social posts and slides, or export a PDF.

What it costs

Beyond the trial, the same as for everyone: credit packs or a plan. Writing the script, setting a reading level and the classroom pack's worksheet are free; drawing pages uses credits. See credits and pricing.
